Gina Papademetriou

Gina brings over 24 years of Nursing and Midwifery experience to James’ practice. She is informative and helpful and will be able to guide you on newborn care and advise you on lactation issues. Her special interests are in lactation, miscarriage support and education.

Gina joined James’ team in 2006 and will be involved in your care during regular visits, and is only too happy to help you with any concerns that you may have.

Gina began her nursing career as an Assistant in Nursing in Urology, Oncology and Women’s Health. Her qualifications include:

• Bachelor of Nursing at the Australian Catholic University (2000)
• Graduate Diploma in Midwifery at UTS (2005)
• Master in Child and Family Health ( Karitane) (2015)
• International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) (2021)

Gina has two children and a passion for teaching and educating new parents. She is here to help and support you.
